TARA is seeking candidate for the role of Counsellor to be a part of its organization. The candidate should have experience working with children and families.

We consider each child as a unique individual and we work for their empowerment, the development of their potential to help them become independent, happy and educated adults.
About the Role
The counsellor is responsible for providing adequate counseling to the children, parents, and families of the project participants of FBP of TARA to enable them to reach out for support and develop coping skills and positive social skills.
Responsibilities
- Counselling of children, parents & families
- Coordination with internal and external stakeholders
- Report and Documentation
- External representation and collaboration
- Risk Management
Eligibility
Education
- Master’s degree in Psychology or Mental Health or Counselling
Experience
- 2-3 years of directly working with the children and families
- Experience working in the urban community set-up/slum areas.
- Previous experience of working with families is advantageous.
Salary
The Counsellor at TARA will get a salary of Rs. 35,000 to 38,000 PM.
