With the vision of driving a ‘data driven, people centric public policy framework in India’, PDAG has undertaken several meaningful at scale partnerships with policymakers and elected representatives, civil society organizations, academic researchers and global digital platforms across our key practice areas- Migration, Sports for Social Impact, Social Protection, Gender, Governance, Climate Change, Digital Cultures and Political Economy.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Review proposal pre-requisites in Request for Proposals (RFPs) and EOI (Expression of Interests) and compose strong, concise and compelling responses along with associated info-graphics.
  • Identify and map key partners and other strategic activity stakeholders in the policy ecosystem.
  • Undertake secondary research on subjects relevant to each of PDAG’s practice areas.
  • Collaborate with programme teams in preparation of background material, preparatory notes, presentations and other inputs for key partner meetings as well as team members’ participation in conferences, seminars, and roundtables.
  • Build a repository of PDAG’s programme’s and initiatives through impact stories, case studies, reports etc.
  • Draft, edit, and proofread policy documents, knowledge products and communications materials.
  • Support the Partnerships and Communications team to conduct key events and meetings with external partners.

Requirements

Work Experience– 1-3 years. Experience working in public policy firms/ social enterprises/ communication firms will be preferred.

Skills

  • Excellent writing and editing skills in English
  • Flair for creating compelling content that can engage and influence audiences
  • Attention to detail and timelines
  • Self-starter, adaptable and able to work as part of a dynamic work environment.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications/ Public Policy/ Journalism/ Humanities/ Social Sciences/ Development/ International Relations. Master’s degree preferred.

Software Skills (Preferable): MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint and optimal experience of navigating international and national bidding and procurement websites of multilateral agencies/ funding platforms.
