Amazon is looking for Financial Analyst who will work with financial data and turn it into actionable metrics. The candidate need to be comfortable working in ambiguity and have attention to detail.
Description of the role Financial Analyst
- Generate a series of financial reports – weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually adhoc highlighting the performance against financial metrics related to vendor funding.
- Engage in Internal Audit projects that involves interaction with stakeholders across geographies
- Adhoc projects that involves data analysis, automation, increasing efficiency of tasks
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree – pref tech degree
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Business Analyst or similar role
- Proven analytical and quantitative skills (includes the ability to effectively use tools such as Excel and SQL)
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA Preferred
- Demonstrated expertise with Excel(including Macros) and SQL
- Strong analytical skills
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail, the ability to work independently, adjust priorities, and work in a continuously changing environment
- A work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations
