Job Description
- We need a candidate who can understand our complex offerings on a technical level, be hands-on in the development of our CI/CD tooling solutions and recommend product and operational improvements based on customer interactions.
- Establishing turfs will limit your ability to make an impact in this role, so we are looking for someone who is thrilled at the prospect of working in a very cross functional environment.

Qualification
- You have previously worked on a team that produces tooling for other engineers.
- You have a product-centric mindset that you use to understand the needs of your users.
- You have the communication skills required to collaborate with and influence teams and individuals, across geos, to drive initiatives forward without a strict top-down mandate.
- You are proficient in some programming language. #Python, #Javascript and #Typescript, are we primarily use, but we are pro good engineering and coding paradigms rather than specific languages or tech stacks.
- You obsess over customer experience.
- You are data-driven.
- You are equally comfortable doing architecture revamps of existing projects, as much as new feature development.
- Even though this is NOT a fully greenfield opportunity, you will be encouraged and empowered to think out of the box, in dealing with the constraints imposed by the existing system.
Requirements
- Build tooling, reusable libraries, and processes that make it easier for other teams to host full-fledged data-centers using our platform.
- Establish/Improve our engagement model with customers.
- Provide insights, feedback, and champion customer sentiment about the tools we support across Productivity Engineering.
- Develop reporting and dashboards to analyze customer usage patterns as well as use that data to enhance our roadmap.
- Track and maintain visibility into ongoing issues and communicate customer needs to ensure that improvement in these areas is prioritized.
- Drive collaboration efforts to reduce product friction and increase usability so that Productivity Engineering can build, deploy, and deliver highly functional solutions for the Developer Community.
