Roles & Responsibilities
- Strong foundation in WAF and understanding around DNS engineering practices for WAF onboarding.
- Experience in debugging WAF issues from both application and network perspectives
- Previous software development experience is preferred.
- Good communication skills and ability to individually drive the project initiatives with development and project teams.
- At least some experience with DevSecOps and automated code scans via pipelines is recommended.
- Strong foundation in vulnerability management and, driving it with development and ISO teams is required.
- In-Depth understanding of request flow through the network.
- Has experience in analyzing the traffic and WAF logs.
- Should be able to analyze the root cause of unintentional WAF blocks and remediate the same.
- Understands the process flow and the impact on the project module outcome.
- Focusses on building depth in project specific technologies.
- Expected to develop domain knowledge along with technical skills.
- Effectively communicate with team members, project managers and clients, as required.
- A proven high-performer and team-player, with the ability to take the lead on projects.

Technical skills required
The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in,
- CloudFlare WAF (or any other WAF platform, however CloudFlare would be preferred)
