The Coalition WILD’s 2023 Global Mentorship Program is a 6-month virtual mentorship program aimed at building collaborative and cross-generational relationships between emerging young environmental leaders (under 35 years of age) and senior conservation professionals. This year’s edition of the program will run from July to December 2023.

Who can apply to become a Mentee?
- Be 35 years of age or younger by the start of the program
- Be available to virtually meet with their mentor for around 1-2 hours per month
- Be (or want to be) professionally involved in the environmental and/or conservation sectors
- Need and/or want support building their career pathway and/or developing specific knowledge and/or skills
- Have a commitment to being actively involved with their mentor during the sic months of the program
Who can apply to become a Mentor?
- Have at least 10 years of experience in a related environmental field or topic.
- Be available to virtually meet with their mentee for around 1-2 hours per month
- Be committed to supporting their mentee, no matter where they are in their career path or what their particular challenges are, keeping an open mind and respecting their journey.
