Position Objective

Honda Cars India is seeking a passionate Learning & Development Specialist. He will be required to create and execute learning strategies and programs for employees at Entry, Non-Management and Management Level. Evaluate the ever-changing need of Learning & Development as per Organization Requirement. Determining appropriate training solutions that meet HCIL’s Short, Mid and Long-term requirement. Amplify the values and culture of Honda. Focus on Uptrend in L&D Domain w.r.t. Employee Experience.

Experience Requirement

  • 7-12 years of total experience working within an HR team • At least 5+ years of experience in L&D domain (Design & Delivery of Training programs)
  • At least 2+ years of experience as an Lead – L&D, Lead – Training or similar • Strong understanding of instructional Design, and learning technologies
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills; sharp business acumen
  • High Proficiency in MS Office (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Main Responsibility

Needs Assessment: Work with HR teams and department managers to identify skill gaps that may exist across the organization. Devise means to address these gaps through development programs Content Development: Devise development programs and create accompanying materials that will be used to deliver the courses as per needs

Program Implementation: Organize, design and deliver programs. Ensure the programs meet the objectives through proper implementation, monitoring, and adjustment of the courses when deemed necessary.

Multi-Modal Learning: implement a variety of learning methods viz., web-based, classroom training. mentoring, presentation-based training, or coaching.

Evaluating Effectiveness: Assess the effectiveness of the training programs, ensuring that the training modules meet the desired objectives. Do Dipstick survey to scan data-point for further improvisation

Talent Management: Nurturing the HIPOs though group’s development programs • Collaboration: Work closely department leaders to improve overall development requirement.

Communication: Development Programs approval from Management and Stakeholders

Budgeting and Resource Management: Must be able to optimize the budget allocated Project Management: Must oversee the delivery of the courses, ensuring timelines are met. Develop and implement an annual Development Calendar of events
