Migration and Asylum Project (MAP) is seeking candidates for its research internship for the location of Delhi. Candidates pursuing law or who have completed their law degree are eligible for this internship.

About Migration and Asylum Project (MAP)

M.A.P or Migration and Asylum Project is India’s only dedicated law center for refugee law and migration studies. It was established on February 20, 2013, under its parent Organisation, The Ara Trust.

It is registered under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act (FCRA), 2010, and under Sections 12A and 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961. M.A.P is a women-led organization with all-woman management.

About the Opportunity

The internship will involve researching state labor rules. The duration of the internship starts from August 14, 2023, onwards, however, the start date is flexible depending on the availability of the selected candidate. Dates can be discussed with shortlisted candidates during the interview.

Roles and Responsibilities

To assist with ongoing research on the study of state labor rules enacted pursuant to the New Labour Codes and to undertake other project-related activities.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Graduate law students or candidates in their 4th/5th year of a 5-year LL.B. program or 3rd year of a 3-year LL.B. program will be given preference.
  • Prior experience in labor laws will be preferred.
