Harit by HCL Foundation
HCLFoundation launched Harit The Green Initiative a distinct flagship programme for Environment Action; with the vision ‘to conserve, restore and enhance indigenous environmental systems and respond to climate change in a sustainable manner through community engagement.
Internship Opportunity
We are inviting aspiring post-graduate fresher students for a three-month paid internship in the following domains/ thematic areas of the Yamuna River basin:
- Status of aquatic and riparian floral diversity including other vegetation
- Status of aquatic faunal diversity, both vertebrates and invertebrates
- Status of hydrological status with relevant to water stress
- Status of pollution and its abetment
The above-mentioned assessment would be based on secondary data sources. Post-graduate students who have completed study in Botany, Zoology, Environment Science, Forestry, Forest Management, Natural Resource Management and Wildlife Science are eligible to apply. The candidate should be well versed in analytical and research writing.
- The last date to apply for this internship is 20th October 2024. The Internship is for 3 months from the joining.
- Selection will be based on the any of the above mentioned topic concept note and interviews at HCL Foundation.
- A certificate will be awarded to each student on the satisfactory completion of their internship and submission of their Report.
Selected candidates have to work from their home/base location on the assigned topics and will be mentored during the internship timeline.
Based on the HCL Foundation’s internal policy, remuneration to the selected students will be provided for the three months.
Yamuna Intern
HCLFoundation offers a unique opportunity to learn and gain experience on Yamuna River basin to the postgraduate interns.

This will be evaluated internally at HCLFoundation for its merit and if accepted, the candidate would be invited to join for a three-month internship.
