TERI is seeking candidate for the role of Research Associate/ Associate Fellow to join its office for the Industrial Energy Efficiency Division.

About the Position
The ideal candidate will possess strong research and analytical skills, a good understanding of energy and climate policies, and the ability to produce well-structured reports. The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting research on low-carbon technologies and decarbonization strategies for the industrial sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct primary and secondary research on low-carbon technologies, with a focus on hydrogen and other innovative solutions.
- Research advancements and trends in decarbonization of the industrial sector, both domestically and internationally.
- Perform statistical analysis on collated data and information, producing high-quality outputs such as reports, policy briefs, presentations, and articles.
- Engage with stakeholders to build networks, foster partnerships, and organize meetings relevant to industrial energy efficiency projects.
- Assist in project-related tasks, including drafting proposals and contributing to other research initiatives within the division.
- Undertake any other responsibilities related to industrial energy efficiency as assigned.
Key Skills
- Strong research and analytical capabilities, with the ability to quickly absorb and synthesize a wide range of literature.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- General knowledge of key energy and climate policies and technologies, both domestically and globally.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
Qualifications
- Master’s in Economics or Business Economics
Experience
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience
