MeitY Start-up Hub (MSH)is an independent Business Division within Digital India Corporation (DIC) under the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (GoI). MSH has been set up in order to facilitate MeitY’s vision of promoting technology innovation, startups and creation of Intellectual Properties, MSH is, therefore, acting as a national coordination, facilitation and monitoring centre that will integrate all the incubation centres, start-ups and innovation related activities of MeitY.

Roles and Responsibilities
Content Creation and Strategy:
- Develop and curate engaging content for MSH’s social media platforms, including posts, stories, reels, and videos.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop a content calendar and ensure consistent messaging across channels.
- Create content tailored to different platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter) with a focus on engagement.
Social Media Campaigns:
- Plan and execute creative social media campaigns to increase engagement and brand visibility.
- Manage day-to-day activities on social media platforms, including posting, replying to comments, and interacting with followers.

Reels and Video Content:
- Create and edit short-form video content like Instagram Reels and TikTok-style videos that align with current trends and audience preferences.
- Develop video scripts and visual concepts for videos that drive audience engagement.
Trend Research and Insights:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, challenges, and platform updates.
- Conduct research on industry trends and audience preferences to inform content creation and campaign strategies.
- Monitor competitor activities and identify opportunities for growth.
Copywriting and Communication:
- Write compelling copy for social media posts, advertisements, and engagement initiatives. Maintain a consistent tone of voice that aligns with the MSH brand and message.
- Edit and proofread content to ensure high-quality output.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Track, measure, and report on the performance of social media campaigns.
- Use analytics tools to assess engagement, impressions, and other key performance metrics, adjusting strategies accordingly.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences (Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok).
- Experience in creating engaging content, including text, images, and videos.
- Proficiency in social media content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Spark, etc.) and video editing software (Premiere Pro, InShot, etc.).
- Excellent copywriting skills with a knack for creating catchy and engaging captions.
- Ability to create and edit short-form video content such as reels, TikToks, and promotional videos.
- Strong research skills to stay updated with the latest trends, challenges, and best practices.
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Instagram Insights, Facebook Insights).
- Strong communication and time-management skills

Qualifications and Experience
- Students or recent graduates in Marketing, Mass Communication, Journalism, or related fields.
- Must have at least 1-2 social media marketing-related certifications (e.g., HubSpot Social Media Certification, Facebook Blueprint, Google Analytics, or similar).
- Previous experience or internships in social media marketing or content creation (projects, personal work, or freelance experience preferred).
- A strong portfolio or examples of past social media campaigns, content creation, or writing samples.
