Responsibilities
As an Academic Associate for Social Science, you will be:
- Working with instructors on two to three courses per semester in the Social Science major.
- Holding small group tutorial discussions and workshops with Social Science undergraduate students outside class hours.
- Providing academic reading and writing support to Social Science students.
- Organizing course related field trips for students in consultation with faculty.
- Assisting in organising Social Science events.
- In addition to the above responsibilities, you are also encouraged to work with an assigned Social Science faculty member on your own project.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Sociology/ Anthropology/ Political Science/ Human Geography, or any allied disciplines.
- Proficiency in any Indian language other than English (preferably Kannada, Telugu, Marathi, Malayalam, Tamil, or Hindi).
- Proficiency in both qualitative and quantitative research methods
Salary
Salary will be between Rs. 3 to 7 LPA.
