Carnegie India is seeking interns for its Program and Research Internship- Technology and Society. It is offering a three-to-twelve month internships to support the center’s scholars and programs. Interns are an integral part includes offices in Berlin, Brussels, Beirut, New Delhi, and Washington.

Program and Research Intern- Technology and Society

  • Carnegie India is seeking program and research interns, with a background in public policy, law, economics, political science or related fields to work for a period of three to six months starting from 1 April, 2024.
  • The intern may be assigned administrative, editorial, research, writing, or organisational tasks to provide overall support to Carnegie India’s Technology & Society program. The intern will also assist scholars on ongoing projects, background research, and events.
  • Responsibilities may include research assistance on issues relating to artificial intelligence, biotechnology, space policy, data governance, encryption, digital privacy, digital public infrastructure and semiconductor supply chains.
  • Support verticals at Carnegie India, including program, development, and communication teams and help with the organization of the Global Technology Summit, Carnegie India’s flagship annual event.

General Requirements

Candidates must:

  • Be a recent college/university graduate
  • Have an excellent verbal and written command of English

Ideal Candidate Must Have

  • Excellent research and writing skills.
  • Strong interest in technology policy and law.
  • The ability to be an enthusiastic and creative team player while working both independently and collaboratively.
