Code to Enhance Learning (CEL) is a non-profit organization based out of Ahmedabad. We envision children leveraging technology to thrive in the innovative world. We use coding as a tool to build critical thinking, creativity, collaboration and perseverance in children. With our offerings, we have reached 50000+ children and 1000 schools in multiple cities catering to low income and government schools.
About the Role
Program Associate is a role which will help change the lives of children from low income backgrounds using technology. Moreover, it will give a chance to grow as a curriculum designer, engaging facilitator and understand the nuances of the Edtech space. You will be working with committed and high performing individuals and coordinating with amazing schools and their senior leaders who are enthusiastic in providing path changing learning to students.
How will you make a difference?
As a Full Time Program Associate, based in Gandhi Nagar Gujarat you will take lead on the execution of the programs. You will,
● Create curriculum and resources to teach coding to kids on different platforms
● Conduct coding sessions for children in grade 4 and above in school during or after school hours everyday
● Build and manage relations with the stakeholders like parents, schools, etc. by updating them about the progress of the program through phone calls, home visits, school visits, etc.
● Conduct teacher training sessions for teachers in schools
● Support in the operations of coding events, other programs, social media as and when needed.
We are looking for
● Diploma/Bachelors in Computer Science Eng./IT Eng./ Computer Applications/BSc/MSc IT
● Fresher or 2 year experience in teaching children and creating lesson plans
● Can travel to different schools
● Can demonstrate Continuous Learning, Problem Solving and Building Relationship
● Good documentation skills with MS Office tools
● Good fluency in English, Gujarati and Hindi
Salary
The salary of program associate at Code to Enhance Learning will be between Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 30,000 PM.
