Embassy of Israel in India is seeking interns for its Political Department Internship opportunity. The duration of the internship would be for 6 months during which the intern will have the unique opportunity to work closely with our dedicated political team, gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of domestic politics.

Internship Duration– 6 Months

Responsibilities

  • Assist in researching political developments, trends, and legislations. Provide concise and insightful summaries to inform the Embassy’s political team.
  • Collaborate to draft reports, and policy briefs. Participate in internal discussions on ongoing political matters, offering fresh perspectives and insights.
  • Support the planning and execution of political events, including seminars, meetings, and roundtable discussions. Occasionally represent the Embassy at conferences, forums, and meetings with stakeholders, building connections.
  • Track and monitor political events, speeches, and media coverage which is relevant, offering timely updates and analysis. Assist with drafting daily and weekly summaries of significant political developments.
  • Provide logistical and administrative support to the political team as needed, including organizing meetings, preparing briefing materials, and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Political Science, International Relations or related fields
  • Well versed with Indian politics- national and state level
  • Strong interest in international relations, political science, or Middle East studies
  • Enthusiasm for political affairs, diplomacy, and media
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills: attention to detail is crucial
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks with professionalism
  • Strong research and analytical abilities, with a keen ability to synthesize information
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Previous internship or academic experience related to international relations or political affairs is preferred.
