About ICSSR
The Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) was established in the year of 1969 by the Government of India to promote research in social sciences in the country. They’re hiring 25 interns for a full-time, paid internship based out of New Delhi.
Internship Duration- 6 Months
Qualifications and Required Skills
- Education– Candidates with M.A. / M.Sc. with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in any Social Science/ Humanities/ Inter Disciplinary Studies from a recognized university/ institution.
- Skills– Applicants should possess a sound understanding of research methodologies, statistical tools and data analysis in social sciences, along with communication skills.
- Communication– Proficiency in MS Office applications is essential.
- Organizational Abilities– The ideal candidate shall demonstrate strong organizational abilities and a keen willingness to learn.
Timings
The interns shall be expected to work on offline mode for 40 hour per week, Monday to Friday, 9.30 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. including half an hour lunch break. They will be entitled for 1 day leave per month.
Stipend
The ICSSR will provide a stipend of Rs. 25,000 PM.
