Jakson Green, an energy transition platform is hiring for the position of Contracts Analyst for the Commercial Legal Team. The contracts analyst will be responsible to manage routine requests for legal assistance from varied business teams across the company structure.
Responsibilities
• Examine, negotiate, and review contracts, NDAs, and other client contracts, compliance communications, etc.
• Integrate with in-house teams to support contracting procedures.
• Respond to requests on legal issues and concerns.
• Help support other legal team members with a wide range of matters.
• Draft contract terms as per requirement.
• Contribute to FAQs and building of knowledge base.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Undergraduate degree and certification in contract reading required. • Applicants with a law degree with experience in the energy sector will be considered.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience working on contracts within a law firm or corporate legal department with an emphasis on the Green / Energy sector.
• Experience managing and/or drafting and negotiating simple contracts;
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Collaborative and interpersonal skills.
• Highly responsive and service-oriented attitude
• Proficient in Microsoft Word/ Excel and have an interest in and ability to learn new technologies.
