Kshamtalaya Foundation is seeking candidates for the role of State Resource Person and Wellbeing Program Manager for the location Udaipur and Patna. We are looking for a motivated professional who believes in Kshamtalaya’s vision to bring meaningful change in education by working with SCERT. You will be leading state related project deliverables that are aligned to Kshamtalaya’s vision & mission.

Kshamtalaya is a non-profit organization founded to support school children from disadvantaged areas for their holistic development. We aim to achieve this by developing schools as transformative spaces for all the stakeholders. Our program aims to improve the learning quality in schools through building a strong foundation in language, mathematics and science subject field & focusing on improving learning levels to their grade level.

Position- State Resource Person

Education

Bachelors/Masters Degree (preferably in Policy Making, M.A. in Education)

Work Experience

5 years experience working with organizations on curriculum development, managing projects with the district/block/states. Experience in working & liasoning with stakeholders that are of block/district level. 

Roles & Responsibilities

  • You will be directly responsible to implement the Khushi Shaala Project with State of Rajasthan that focuses on building and enhancing Students’ Social Emotional Well-being.
  • You will manage any future state-related projects that include and are not restricted to the following thematic areas ~ foundational literacy, numeracy & well-being of children, integrated learning, 21st century life skills, Entrepreneurship mindset, Community leadership & governance (SMCs), Pedagogical leadership of teachers & their well-being related objectives. 
  • You will manage the stakeholders with regular updation, documentation, planning & monitoring of your work with relevant division heads and the Director of SCERT. 
  • The idea behind this role is to helm our learning from the ground that we are acquiring in the schools and re-integrating them into State level projects, therefore weekly or need-based field visits to our location districts. 
  • An added responsibility here would include quarterly capacity building on need-based thematic areas for our iDISCOVER fellows. 
  • Identify loopholes in the work, functioning of field staff, if any; Plan accordingly for future project implementation and create monitoring and evaluation tools and formats.
  • Documenting and recording all the information like meetings, training etc. with proper signatures and verifications. 

● Monitor self performance periodically and work accordingly. 

Remuneration

You will be paid a salary in line with Kshamtalaya’s proposed pay scale for programme leadership positions, which is upward of [Rs 5,40,000/- to Rs 6,00,000/-per annum] negotiable, depending on experience and contribution to the team.

Position- Well-being Program Manager

Roles & Responsibilities

Driving Program- Hausla 2.0

Hausla is a 21-Day Mental Well-being program,designed specifically to support teachers/educators to explore and identify tools & practices for personal well-being. The

Well-being Lead will be responsible for managing, and supporting the delivery of Hausla with 2000 teachers of Rajasthan and Delhi. The success of the program is being evaluated against the following key outputs:

  • Improve the skills related to self awareness, emotional regulation and relationship in the Hausla fellows
  • Creating engaged cohorts of well-being-preneurs with the Hausla Fellows.
  • Improved understanding of Hausla fellows on mental health and skills that promote better mental health.
  • Increased stakeholder engagement and acceptance towards mental wellbeing programs, leading to sustainable improvements.
  • The Well-being lead is also responsible for ensuring regular monitoring of the progress made in relation to key program activities. You will regularly review progress with team members, Kshamtalaya senior leadership and our international partner, Brio. You will suggest and be receptive to ideas for ongoing program improvements and adaptations.

Skills and Experience

  • Possesses /demonstrates interest in mental health, psychotherapy, creative therapy (dance movement therapy, drama therapy, music or visual arts therapy )
  • Preferred: Master degree in Psychology and certification in mindfulness based therapies courses from renowned national and international institutions
  • 2 years of prior experience preferred.
  • Good facilitation skills, strong written and oral communication skills in English and Hindi.
  • Prior experience of working in a multi stakeholder environment, and managing diverse teams.
  • Comfortable to work remotely with an international partner and travel or stay regularly at project sites in rural locations.
  • Exposure to concepts and curriculums like Social Emotional Learning
  • Analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
  • Humble and professional to work with varying degrees of government sector officials and young professionals.
  • Strong critical thinking and ability to make decisions.
  • Ability to carve your own path to goals and be accountable towards the same.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in teams.
  • Knowledge of MS Office Applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Applications and comfortable communicating through WhatsApp.

Salary

Rs. 45,000 per month
