Job Description
As a Program Associate, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing projects related to foreign policy, with a regional emphasis on India and the Indo-Pacific. Your work will also have a critical focus on gender-related issues. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting in-depth desk research on relevant topics.
- Developing research and interview questions under the guidance of the company director.
- Conducting interviews and discussions with subject matter experts.
- Monitoring public dialogue, news, and discourse on issues related to Kubernein Initiative’s projects.
- Drafting comprehensive internal notes and reports.
- Creating concise articles for external publication based on your research.
- Managing multiple projects, including timelines, budgets, and coordination with stakeholders.
- Building and maintaining relationships with internal teams and external partners.
- Representing Kubernein Initiative at relevant forums and conferences.
Requirements
- A postgraduate degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 4 years of experience in research, research planning, and program management.
- Expertise in foreign policy, gender studies, or related fields.
- Strong writing skills and fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
- Experience in social media management (Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn) is a plus.
- Proven ability to build networks and liaise with diverse stakeholders.
