Labya is seeking Field Intern for its Internship program to be held in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. This internship is part of a need assessment project to assess the requirements of the children and co-create a well-being program with the state.

About the Role
The role requires travel to different regions in Gujarat to gather insights from students, staff
and other relevant stakeholders.
All the interns will be provided with a pre-field training along with questionnaires and
processes for data collection and documentation.

All the interns will be accompanied on field by team members from Labhya
What’s Involved
- Minimum 2-weeks travel to different regions of Gujarat (travel and accommodation
will be covered) - Responsibilities:
- Undergoing trainings
- Collecting data by facilitating discussions & 1:1 conversations with children and
- staff
- Taking thorough verbatim notes
- Data recording: organising and collating the data
- Translating the collected data into English/Hindi.
- Time Commitment: 8 hours/day
Other Requirements
- Currently living in and around Ahmedabad/Gandhinagar
- Open to travel across Gujarat in January 2025
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in Gujarati & English / Hindi
- Proficiency in using electronic devices (Laptop, Mobile)
- Must have a Laptop/Computer to work on

- Must be comfortable with rapport building and with school-level stakeholders
- Good communication skills with students and teachers etc
