Legislative Department, M/o Law & Justice invites applications for engagement of 16 (sixteen) Young Professionals on contract basis for a period of one year for providing professional services on specific spheres of law as per requirement of this Department. The selection process, educational qualifications, experience, age limit and required for the position are as under:
Educational Qualifications
Essential– LLB Degree (First Class) from any recognized University. The degree should be completed on or before 01.04.2024.
Desirable– Persons with LLM and additional qualifications, research experience, published papers and post qualifications experience in the relevant field would be preferred.
Experience– 2 Years
Age Limit– Not more than 32 years as on 01. 01. 2024
Selection Process
Step 1: Publication of Advertisement on the website and in at least one newspaper (both Hindi and English/ Employment News? Rozgar Samachar, as the case may be.
Step 2: Screening of applications received on the basis of Educational Qualifications, Experience in research field, post qualification experience, etc. and any other proficiency desirable for the post.
Step 3: Written (subjective questions) examination of the shortlisted candidates for merit based ranking and selection of candidates. The candidates shall be tested on (i) Constitution of India, (ii) Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, (iii) Bharatiyra Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, (iv) Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023, (v) Indian Contract Act, (vi) Code of Civil Procedure, (vii) Administrative Law, and (viii) Legislative Drafting.
Step 4: Placing of shortlisted applications before an Evaluation Committee with following composition:

The Evaluation Committee may devise its own method for selection of suitable candidates as per the requirement.
Remuneration
Salary will be paid Rs. 60,000 PM.
