Leica is thrilled to announce its “Leica Street Fully Funded Photography Competition 2025”. This exciting opportunity is inviting applications from photographers of all levels to showcase their talent and embark on an unforgettable journey of discovery.
This time it is the 14th edition of Leica Street Photography Competition 2025.

Competition Subject
The competition is dedicated to broadly understood street photography. Street photography is understood as a type of photography that documents everyday life in public space, including interactions between people, architecture, events and the atmosphere of the city.
Eligibility
It is open to all adults and minors
(Note- The competition is open to all adults who are not linked to the Organizer by capital, personal or employment relationship. The condition for participation of minors is the consent of their parents or guardians to participate in the competition.)
Photography Competition Rules
- A competition participant may submit a maximum of five photos.
- Subject: Street photography.
- Eligibility: Photos taken between January 1 and December 31, 2024.
- Technique: Any photographic method is acceptable.
- Submission: JPEG files up to 2000 pixels on the longest side.
- Editing: Basic color correction and cropping allowed. No AI or significant manipulation.
- Ownership: Participants must own the rights to their submissions.
- Model Release: Participants are responsible for obtaining necessary model releases.
- Content Restrictions: No adult content, alcohol/tobacco promotion, or illegal content.
- Winner Requirements: High-resolution files (50 cm on the longest side) for potential printing.
Prize
Prize of Competition is a Leica Q3 Camera
- Jury Decision: The Jury determines if a photo fits the competition theme.
- Winner Notification: Winners will be notified by email.
- Prize Selection: The Jury selects the winning work.
- Main Prize: Awarded according to Polish tax regulations.
- Exhibition: Winning works will be exhibited at Leica Gallery Vienna and other galleries.
- Exhibition Costs: The organizer covers all exhibition costs.
- Cash Prize: A cash prize of 11.11% of the value of in-kind prizes will be withheld for tax purposes.
- Tax Payment: The organizer will pay the applicable income tax on prizes.
