Roles & Responsibilities
MASH Impact is seeking a passionate Communications Associate to support our communications team and help us amplify our impact. You’ll play a key role in crafting compelling narratives, managing our social media presence, and supporting our overall communications strategy. The Associate will work closely with the Senior Communications Associate. Their responsibilities will be to:
- Assist in developing and executing communication plans for MASH and its various campaigns and initiatives
- Create engaging content (written, visual, and multimedia) for social media platforms
- Manage and schedule social media posts, ensuring consistent brand voice and messaging with our audience
- Support media relations activities, such as press release development and media outreach (optional)
- Stay up-to-date on the latest communication trends and best practices
Eligibility
- Degree in English, communications, journalism, or any humanities field with a good grasp of the English language
- Minimum 0-1 years of experience in communications, content creation, or social media management
- Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for social impact and youth empowerment
- Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) a plus
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Strong organizational skills and a meticulous approach to work
