About the Role
The Assistant Manager– Subject Matter Expert (Maths & Science) will play a vital role in designing and delivering a robust curriculum for Muskaan Dreams’ Innovators of Tomorrow program. This role involves developing engaging content to teach coding and 21st-century skills, with topics ranging from Scratch and AI to advanced programming languages like C++, Python, and React.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and strengthen existing science and mathematics videos and e-content available on the Muskaan Dream app.
- Research relevant educational platforms and online resources to find & curate engaging educational content for science and mathematics
- Track and analyse student engagement and teacher feedback to inform future content development
- Design activities that complement the videos and content found for the app.
- Design STEM activities for teacher capacity-building programs.
- Develop engaging content for science and mathematics teachers, including lesson plans, STEM activities, resource books, etc.
- Conduct training and capacity development programs for teachers on science and mathematics curriculum, incorporating technology and the Muskaan Dream app.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in science and mathematics education.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Science ,Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience curriculum design, content development for Science and/or mathematics
- Past experience of working in the education/non-profit sector
- Candidates possessing experience in teaching science/mathematics at the elementary/secondary grade will be preferred.
Skills
- Strong content development skills with an ability to simplify scientific and mathematical skills for students.
- Proficiency in developing teacher training and student engagement materials.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and project management skills.
- Familiarity with educational technology tools and platforms for content creation and delivery.
Additional Requirements
Prior experience in the development or education sectors will be an added advantage.
