National Backward Classes Finance & Development Corporation (NBCFDC) is a Govt. of India undertaking under the aegis of Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Govt. of India, working for the upliftment of economic status of the poor amongst the Backward Classes by providing concessional financial assistance to the target group through the Channel Partners, Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) and Public Sector Banks (PSBs).

Eligibility

Educational Qualification

  • Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Public Policy, Anthropology etc., or a related field

Upper Age Limit

  • 35 years as on 30.11.2024

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in research, fieldwork, and project evaluation, preferably in the social development sector.
  • Understanding of government schemes and policies related to marginalized communities, particularly DNTs.
  • Excellent research, analytical, presentation and report-writing skills.
  • Proficiency in data collection and analysis tools and techniques.
  • Ability to travel extensively and work in remote and rural areas.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse Stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in English and Hindi, knowledge of regional languages is an advantage.

Desirable Attributes

  • Prior experience working with DNTs or similar marginalized communities.
  • Knowledge of M&E, Geographic Information System (GIS) tools and techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and flexible approach.
