Newslaundry is in search of candidates for the role of Researcher. The candidate will have to work from its Delhi based office.
Job Description
- Monitor and analyze television news along. Collaborative writing with tight deadlines.
- Ability to come up with innovative ideas on media critique and dabble with different formats to target newer audiences.
- Find creative ways to tell a visual story and take care of social media distribution
- Identify and book guests for interviews, podcast shows, and special events in coordination with editors and producers.
Requirements
- You should be a news junkie, who has an eye for the absurd on TV.
- Strong communication skills as you will be required to coordinate with our production, design, desk, and social media team.
- Satire writing skills
- Open to working on flexible schedules and tight deadlines
- Track people who are in the news or of general interest including political leaders, civil society leaders, journalists, writers, and actors, and invite them for interviews and shows.
- Coordinate with editors and producers to identify and book the guests.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills to smoothly coordinate with multiple individuals and teams on a daily basis.
