Notifi is seeking candidate for the post of Node.js Developer. It is a fully remote job.

Notifi is a Vancouver, British Columbia based field service management platform designed for small to medium-sized businesses with a platform that simplifies operations and enhances customer communication.
Position Overview
The ideal candidate should have experience in building scalable services. REST APIs, working with modern web technologies, and handling cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain backend service using Node.js, MongoDB, and AWS
- Collaborate with frontend developers to deliver seamless user experiences
- Optimize performance and scalability of applications
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
- Integrate third-party services including AWS, Stripe, Twilio, and Telnyx
- Work on automation and cloud infrastructure using AWS
- Collaborate with frontend teams from seamless integration
Required Skills
- Approximately 3 to 5 years of experience in Node.js development
- Proficiency in Node.js and RESTful APIs
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and Docker
- Familiarity with Stripe, Twilio, or similar technologies
- Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud infrastructure
- Strong understanding of databases and microservices architecture
- Excellent written and verbal English communication and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Good understanding of the Canadian and America accent is a plus
Preferred Skills
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of frontend frameworks (React, Reach Native) is a plus
- Experience with other backend frameworks and technologies
- Previous experience in a startup environment
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relate field (e.g., B.E., B.Tech., B.C.A, M.E., M.Tech, M.C.A)
