About the YASH Program
YASH (Young Advocates for Social Harmony) is one of PRATYEK’s flagship programs designed to cultivate leadership and advocacy skills among children and youth. The program provides platforms like Children’s Parliaments where young advocates discuss critical issues and drive positive change in their communities. YASH also integrates creative mediums, trainings, and a focus on essential topics such as child rights, environmental protection, and budgeting for children.

Eligibility
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in program management, community engagement, or advocacy, preferably in the development sector.
- Strong understanding of child rights, gender rights, and environmental issues.
Skills and Competencies
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and ensure quality outcomes.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Networking: Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with schools, volunteers, media, and donors.
- Training Facilitation: Expertise in designing and delivering training sessions on social justice topics.
- Research and Fundraising: Proficiency in donor mapping, proposal writing, and fundraising strategies.
- Media Relations: Experience in working with journalists and leveraging media to amplify impact.
