At Project Tech4Dev, we provide solutions ranging from providing open source platforms to NGOs to building tech capacity in nonprofits. We equip non-profits with the technology they need to amplify their impact. Our open source platforms include – Glific, Dalgo, and Avni. The current position is for Glific.

Glific is a WhatsApp based open-source communication platform, which enables NGOs to have customized conversations with thousands of beneficiaries simultaneously. Till now, we have worked with 90+ NGOs to bridge the last mile gap digitally via smart phones. Read more about Glific here.
Ideal Candidate
- An entrepreneurial go-getter with 2+ years of experience in B2B sales partnerships.
- Avid networker with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Should be comfortable crafting communications that get to the heart of the consumers.
- Is curious and wants to learn more about our users, our product and our alternatives
- Is willing to get hands-on with the product to know it so that he/she can sell it well
- Champions the client
- Has the technical depth of the product and tenacity that enable you to drive ambiguous problems to a conclusion with an understanding of the social sector.
- Must have a flair for numbers and the ability to convert interests/ make proposals and budgets.
- Quick at problem-solving and troubleshooting.
- Undergraduate degree in any discipline.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop a deep holistic understanding of the platform and its various functions while also being able to provide demonstrations to prospective clients.
- Building the sales funnel by generating leads via various 1:1 outreach activities while ensuring they lead to conversions and onboarding.
- Proactively look at creating opportunities for revenue generation by analyzing competition, evaluating opportunities with partners, and lateral thinking.
- Monitoring sales performance against targets, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement, and preparing regular reports for monthly reviews.
- Manage client’s accounts following up through email and phone for onboarding, contract negotiations, and proposals.
- Relay feature customisation requests to the product team.
- Understand potential NGOs’ challenges and requirements and provide probable solutions offered by Glific.
- Execute on a sales strategy to increase platform reach and usage.
- Represent Glific at public events and lead webinars.
Skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to collaborate with cross functional teams.
- Familiar with online sales strategies for software platforms and services.
- Ability to measure sales performance and report various sales metrics.
- Strong ownership and ability to maintain customer relationships and product support with empathy.
- Team player, who welcomes critical feedback, is transparent in providing inputs and is willing to learn fast.
- Demonstrate expertise in strategising, planning, and executing initiatives effectively.
Location
Remote. You will be required to travel every quarter for a 1-week long team sprint which will happen in destinations as decided by the team. This allows the team to work together and have more in-person interactions. Additionally, as per project requirements (such as NGO field visits or team meetings), you should be open to travel.
