Samarth Fellowship is an opportunity for young leaders to enter into social development spaces through entry level jobs and fellowships in India. Samarth Fellowship is inviting applications from the individuals who are interested in social development and eagerly seeking opportunities in it.
About the Fellowship
The SAMARTH Fellowship is a nine-month program to engage young people into three parts: self-development; peer activities; and meeting aspirational career goals through well-defined structural processes. This will immerse them into real-life situations faced by social development spaces. It engages youth in three components: self development, peer activities, and achieving career aspirations through well-defined structural processes.
Uniqueness of Fellowship
- Most flexible– It is a part-time, virtual, and self-development focused opportunity and requires engagements of 10-12 hours, every week.
- Democratic values– That is of the youths, by the youths, and for the youths. Focused on reaching all the youths of India for awareness, conducting the leadership program with passionate individuals, and ensuring all strategies are devised by the youths.
- Technology aided innovation– Operationalize through every digital platform like website, WhatsApp peer group, e-meets, workshops, in-house publications, learning resources, and personalized conversations.
- Expression– It will encourage individual expression in all dimensions like stories, blogs, individual passion, empathetic interaction, and other activities.
- Social Leader Fellowship– This fellowship envisions developing passionate youth to take charge, join the development sector, and build themselves into social leaders with the right cognition, compassion, and competencies.
Eligibility
- Must be passionate about working in social development spaces.
- Should be an Indian citizen with age, not more than 27 years.
- Must have completed Graduation in any stream or in the last year of the course.

Fellowship Stages
Samarth Fellowship Stipend
Samarth Fellowship is unpaid. The fellows will not receive any monthly stipends.
The fellows are expected to dedicate 10-12 hours per week to various self-development activities within our learning and growth ecosystem. The organization’s return on investment is measured by fellows’ personal growth and their subsequent placements in the social sector, including prestigious entry-level jobs, aspirational career paths, and fellowships in India.
