Sangath is seeking for a Hindi Translator for its NAMASTE programme. Neurodevelopment and AutisM in South ASia Treatment and Evidence (NAMASTE) is a programme which will be implemented by Sangath, an Indian not for–profit organization working in the field of public health research for over 25 years.
About NAMASTE Programme
NAMASTE will aim to design and implement a flexible evidenced pathway towards universal health coverage for children with Autism, through a programme of research, training and capacity building across India, Sri Lanka and Nepal.
Work Duration- 1 Month
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in any subject
Work Experience
Previous work experience of translating English documents to Hindi
Required Skills
- Verbal and written proficiency in English and Hindi.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work in a hybrid mode and good time management skills.
- Ability to type in Hindi.
Responsibilities
Translation of WHO-CST Manuals
- 2 Manuals of the WHO-CST viz, Facilitator Guide and Home Visit Guide to be translated in Hindi.
- The manuals consist of approximately 385 pages to be translated comprising of 1,24,546 words.
Collaborate with Stakeholders
- Communicate with relevant team members who are involved in the NAMASTE programme to discuss and address any questions or concerns regarding the translation.
- Allow for 2-3 reviews to finalize the document.
