Shiksharth, a not-for-profit educational organization is seeking candidates for the post of Fundraising Manager. This position involves creating and implementing effective fundraising strategies to ensure the organization’s sustainability and growth. The fundraising manager will work closely with the leadership team, community stakeholders, and donors to achieve fundraising goals.

Shiksharth is a not-for-profit educational organization designing and implementing contextualized comprehensive education solutions for children from spaces of conflict and adversity by strengthening pedagogy, systems and community in an integrated approach. Currently, we are based out of Sukma, Chhattisgarh in Central India which is a tribal region suffering from 4 decades of armed conflict because of left-wing extremism.
Required Skills
Develop and Execute Fundraising Strategies:
- Create comprehensive fundraising plans aligned with the organization’s mission and objectives.
- Identify potential funding sources, including grants, corporate sponsorships, individual donors, and community partnerships.
- Implement innovative strategies to diversify funding streams and minimize reliance on any single source.
Grant Proposal Development:
- Research and identify relevant grant opportunities.
- Prepare compelling grant proposals and concept notes, ensuring alignment with the organization’s programs and initiatives.
- Collaborate with program managers and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for grant applications.
Donor Cultivation and Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with individual donors, corporate partners, and foundations.
- Develop and implement donor engagement strategies to enhance donor retention and satisfaction.
- Keep donors informed about the organization’s progress, impact, and upcoming initiatives.
Organize Fundraising Events:
- Plan and execute fundraising events, such as galas, charity walks, and community outreach programs.
- Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, budgeting, and marketing, to ensure successful events.
- Leverage events to increase awareness and garner support for the organization.
Budgeting and Financial Reporting:
- Collaborate with the finance team to create and manage the fundraising budget.
- Monitor fundraising expenses and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Generate regular reports on fundraising activities, financial progress, and return on investment.
Stay Informed about Industry Trends:
- Stay updated on trends and best practices in fundraising within the education sector.
- Continuously assess and improve fundraising strategies based on industry developments.

Salary
The salary of Fundraising Manager at Shiksharth will be range between 9 LPA to 12 LPA CTC + 2% of total funds raised by person as an annual incentive.
Location
Remote with at least 10 days per Quarter at Organization’s Headquarter Sukma, Chhattisgarh.
