1. Research Associate (1 Post)
Duration– 6 Months
Remuneration– Rs. 47,000 PM
Responsibilities
- Conduct lead field research and coordinate with stakeholders involved in water resource management.
- Develop and implement evaluation tools, and assist in data analysis.
- Contribute to the writing of reports, policy briefs, and the dissemination of findings. Supervise and mentor Research Assistants, Field Investigators and interns.
- Collect the data from the field.
Eligibility
- Maser in Social Sciences, Social Work, Rural Development and related discipline.
- A PhD or MPhil degree in Social Sciences, Rural Development, Water Resource Management, or / NET in the related field is required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as research assistant in participatory water governance, evaluation studies, capacity-building initiatives, or rural development is necessary.
- Strong proficiency in qualitative and/or quantitative research methods is essential.
- Excellent writing and communication skills in English are required. Proficiency in Marathi is desirable.
2. Research assistant (1 Post)
Duration– 3 Months
remuneration– Rs. 37,000 PM
Responsibilities
- Assist field Investigators in the primary and secondary data Collection (including stakeholder interviews and documentation).
- Monitor the filed data collection in the field.
- Support data entry, transcription, and preliminary analysis.
- Provide logistical and administrative support for the project.
- Support Research Associate to write report.
Eligibility
- A PhD/ MPhil/ Master’s degree in Social Sciences with NET, Rural Studies, Development Studies, Environmental Studies, or a related discipline (55% minimum)
- Prior experience in field work, data collection, research reports. Experience on water-related projects is highly valued and desirable.
- The ability to travel all over Marathwada region of Maharashtra to field locations wherever it is essential.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Marathi are necessary.
3. Field Investigator (2 Posts)
Duration– 2 months
Remuneration– Rs. 20,000 PM
Responsibilities
- Field data collection, stakeholder interviews, focus group discussions, case studies and documentation.
- Data entry and transcription of the collected data.
Eligibility
- Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Social work, Rural Studies, Development Studies, Environmental Studies, or related disciplines with minimum 55% Marks
- Prior experience in fieldwork research or working on water-related projects will be a valuable asset.
- A willingness to travel to field locations is essential.
- Strong communication skills in English and Marathi are required.
