TNS India Foundation is looking to hire a skilled business associate and community coordinator to join its Women Accelerator Program at the Bangalore office.
About the Program
The Women Accelerator Program at TNS India Foundation aims to scale women-run nano / small businesses across Bangalore with end-to-end business support, access to markets, and credit access for those involved in trades like textile, food, manufacturing, crafts, and retail. Job Role- Business Associate
Requirements
- MBA/ MSW/ BBA/ B.com
- Experience with running a business is a plus
- Comfortable with Microsoft Excel and Google Suite
- Good command of English and Kannada
- Understanding of the development sector and social impact stakeholders
- Open to learning and high on ownership
- Practice empathy and integrity
Responsibilities
- Manage data collection activities
- Coordinate with multiple stakeholders
- Troubleshoot challenges faced by the community coordinators and leaders
- Support team on admin activities
- Liaison with MFIs, brand consultants, and other service providers
- Support team in conducting workshops, training, and events for women entrepreneurs
Job Role- Community Coordinator
Requirements
- Female community leader/ social worker based in Bangalore
- Graduate/ BBA/ BSW/ B.com
- Experience with running a business is a plus
- Fluent in Kannada and working knowledge of English
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Practice empathy and integrity
Responsibilities
- Female small women-run businesses and vendors
- Manage community-level operations
- Work with local NGOs/ Civil Society Organizations
- Influence and motivate participants
- Conduct surveys and focus group discussions
- Support the staff in weekly training activities
- Conduct follow-up calls and field visits
