Samvaad is inviting applications from the eligible candidates for the Tribal Leadership Programme 2024. We invite nominations (can be nominated by a third person/organization/self) for passionate, creative and dynamic tribal youth from across India, who are working with their communities or show demonstrated willingness to contribute to their communities to apply, participate, contribute and at the same time take back some form of collective wisdom to engage with their own communities.
About Tribal Leadership Programme (TLP)
TLP is organized by Tata Steel Foundation, the CSR implementing arm of Tata Steel Limited, and aims to bring together young individuals from tribal communities, by creating a one-of-its-kind platform to learn, co-learn and share stories of their successes, failures, inspirations while forming impactful connections.
What TLP Offers?
TLP is a year-long engagement which is initiated through a week-long module each year. It provides continued access to experts and peer perspectives to leverage Tata Steel Foundation’s Samvaad ecosystem (A confluence of tribal communities and their value systems).
Eligibility
Applicants must belong to a tribal community, between 20-35 years of age and have a good knowledge of Hindi or English.
Instructions
1. Candidate may either fill the form online https://forms.office.com/r/Jn9e9cv3UD or email us a scanned hard copy (filled in legibly) at ‘tlp@tatasteelfoundation.org ‘ with “subject: application-TLP2024-Your Full Name” -For Example: – TLP2024-Ankita Hansda
2. The answer should be to the point in the questionnaire. No additional sheets to be added.
3.The hard copy application may either be handwritten or typed.
4.The Application Should be typed in Hindi/ English/ Any other (for example- Regional, Tribal language)
5.It is mandatory for the candidate to belong to any of the Scheduled Tribe community across India, which is listed in the central government.
6.Selected candidate (will be notified) will have to submit a photo ID card as proof of identification & address (eg. Aadhaar, driving license, voter id card, etc.) and Valid caste certificate for final selection.
7.Applicants must be between 20-35 years of age.
8.The Shortlisted applicants will go through a telephonic interview for final Selection.
