Job Overview
Udayasa Foundation is seeking a dynamic and experienced Grants and Proposal Writer to join our fund-raising team, with a primary focus on grant and proposal development for national and international donors, FCRA revenues, and CSR grants. The Grants and Proposal Writer will play a pivotal role in driving the timely proposal submissions with quality and thus contributing to the expansion of our impactful initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in proposal writing and drafting.
- Understanding of the Social sector and how the domain operates.
- Excellent grasp on language and articulation. Written English samples preferred.
- Deep understanding of Microsoft Office Tools especially word and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of Smart Art, Infographics and Canva must.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent the organization to donors and partners effectively.
Key Deliverables
- Collaborate with program managers and subject matter experts to gather relevant information for proposal development.
- Conduct Secondary research and gather information relevant to the thematic area of work for the proposals.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of funding opportunities, proposal submissions, and outcomes.
- Participate in project ideation discussions, maintain records of meetings held and articulate the outcomes of the meetings into high quality proposal drafts.
- Develop high-quality grant proposals and fundraising materials tailored to the specific requirements of potential donors.
- Maintain a database of all proposals, drafts, secondary data.
- Monitor trends in the social sector and funding landscape to strategically align proposals with current priorities and opportunities.
Team Collaboration
Collaborate with internal teams, including program managers, communications, and finance, to ensure alignment between fundraising efforts and organizational objectives.
Compensation
This is a permanent position with a baseline remuneration / CTC of 4.5 Lakhs per annum up till 5.5 Lakhs per annum depending on competency and experience.
6 Months‘ Probation Period, Term Life Insurance, Accidental Coverage, Communication and Other Allowances (Medical Benefits Post completion of probation).
