Urban Ethnographers is a boutique development consulting firm specializing in providing advisory support to social enterprises, NGOs, governmental organizations, universities, and policy research institutes on a range of social development and public policy matters.
About Instructional Designer
As an instructional designer, you will be working with the content development team at the firm and will get tremendous exposure to instructional designing, learning and development, and research and analysis in the social sector.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop course or program-related documents such as curriculum, session plans, and course overview documents.
- Carry out market research to identify the skill requirements and current updates in various sectors and job roles.
- Design various types of interactive content such as scenario-based learning (SBL), case studies, and interactive videos.
- Formulate questions for formative and summative assessments of various training programs.
- Create teaching materials such as Content PPTs, trainer guides, participant guides, and project handouts for the STT (Short-Term Training) Programs.
- Develop self-learning materials to upload to the application-based online learning platform.
- Design various learning aids such as infographics, quizzes, games, and activities for the e-learning platform.
- Review and realign the existing learning materials available within the organization
- Carry out Training of the trainers’ sessions for various STT programs.
- Create videos with voiceovers for various training sessions.
