Alstonia Impact is seeking candidate for the role of Strategy Consulting Senior Analyst. This is a contract based job for a period of 3 months to work on global social impact projects in public health and climate.

Alstonia Impact provides strategic and investment advisory services to philanthropists, multilaterals, impact funds and non-profits in the areas of public health, education, and economic development. Our clients include leading organizations such as Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, World Bank, UNICEF, One Acre Fund, Omidyar Network and Wadhwani Al among others.
About the Role
We are currently adivising several funders, non-profits, and social enterprises. To this end, we are looking to hire a short-term Sr. analyst for 3 months (full-time, with the option to extend). The consultant will work on high impact engagements as part of international 3 to 4 member teams. Others on the team have previously worked at leading for- and non-profit organizations (McKinsey, Gates Foundation, Siemens), and have studied at leading universities (INSEAD, Imperial College, Delhi School of Economics, DTU).
Contract Duration– 3 Months
Key Tasks
- Help with the structuring, development and formalization of our advice for our clients
- Develop financial and impact models to be able to quantify and prioritize initiatives
- Conduct secondary research to understand sectors, competitive landscapes and technologies to support our current or prospective client engagements
- Conduct primary research through interviews or surveys Support the development of benchmarks and lessons learnt
- Help with our client development activities, to increase our pipeline of projects
Eligibility
- 2+ years in professional services such as Consulting and Investment Banking. Candidates with exposure to Impact Investing/Impact Consulting will also be considered.
- Strong work ethic and consistent track record in meeting tight deadlines
- Strong data, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to summarize complex information in a clear and concise manner
- Comfort in interviewing and engaging with senior stakeholders
- Prior exposure to the social impact sector, esp. public health and climate would be an advantage

- No travel, 100 % remote
- Work from anywhere with flexible schedule. Our work is mostly asynchronous, but we require a few touch points with the team with the clients.
- Given our clients are across the world, there could be a few calls in the evenings. We generally keep Friday evenings free.
