About GivingPi
Dasra launched in recent years a network called GivingPi, India’s first and exclusive family philanthropy network of its kind, for leading philanthropic families to learn, share, and collaborate with each other. GivingPi has made significant strides in building the network with families in India over the last two years, and now is looking at scaling it further in US, UK, Dubai and Singapore over the next 2-3 years.
About Role
Dasra is seeking a dynamic and creative content writer with 3-6 years of professional experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in crafting compelling content across various mediums. This includes thought leadership in the form of articles, feature stories, podcast scripts, long form essays, press releases, and more. Proficiency in journalistic style writing and previous experience with writing for the social sector is essential.
Responsibilities
- Engage in the end-to-end creation of thought leadership products (reports, magazine, articles, podcasts, etc.) and media stories (features, interviews, etc) on philanthropy
- Have a deep pulse and understanding of the evolving needs, approaches, mindsets and priorities of philanthropists giving to India, to build thought leadership that is consumable and sharply curated to resonate with this audience
- Stay updated with industry trends to enhance content quality and relevance
Requirements
- 3-6 years of experience in content writing
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a variety of writing across content formats, particularly in the
social sector - Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively
